Spring Style

Spring is my favorite time of the year. Everything is coming back to life after a long winter, all the beautiful flowers are blooming, school is almost out, and my birthday! 😉 I wanted to change things up a little on my blog today!

I have always loved fashion. When I was younger before the idea of Nursing came along, I wanted to be a fashion designer like LC from Laguna Beach ( or The Hills). I would make all my friends play “store” with me. RL Fashions was a hit on Oak Street with my neighborhood friends! Recently I’ve accumulated a bunch of fun and cute spring/summer pieces that I would love to share with you! So lets just start with a few of the things I have gotten…

The first outfit I wanted to share with you is one of my favorites right now. It’s super casual and the jeans are crazy comfy. You can never go wrong with a striped shirt and since strips are my fav I had to share this cute one from J. Crew. You can find similar shirts at H&M, Gap, Nordstrom (they have lots!), etc.

The jeans I’m wearing are from a cute little store in Norway called Cubus. I’m not sure they ship worldwide but these girlfriend jeans can also be found almost anywhere right now. Zara has a lot of cute options, plus some of them have cute flower embroidery.

The shoes are New Balance and perfect for the spring/summer season. I love white sneakers and these are a great mix of beige and white. And my bag has been my biggest obsession since studying abroad. This Longchamp bag is a classic piece and great for everyday use or as a carry-on. They come in all different sizes and colors and they seem to always been “in”.

The next outfit is another fav right now. I am loving the bandana scarf look this season and I have recently bought a few from J. Crew and I am obsessed. The one in the pictures is my favorite but I also found a more basic bandana that can go with more pieces. I also was recently at Anthropologie and found a cloth napkin on sale and would work great for a scarf as well. I couldn’t find the exact one but Anthropologie did have one on sale that was also cute… and tempting to get!

Another style I am crazy about right now are the ruffle sleeves. This one is from Missguided is so fun! It’s light weight and perfect for this season. Since it’s white, a pop of color in fun accessories is just what it needs to finish off the look. In this case, I picked my new favorite scarf with the floral detail. Nordstrom has great options for different ruffle sleeve tops at a great price. They have so many good ones, just take a look here.

My jeans are just basic high-waisted denim from my go-to shop for jeans, GapTopshop and Zara are just a few others with great options for jeans. For me, mid to high-rise jeans are way more comfortable around the waist and they just seem a little more flattering.

The shoes were a purchase from Target a few years ago so I couldn’t find the exact pair online but I found a few different options that were similar from TopshopNordstrom, and Target.

I really hope you enjoyed this post because it was a blast to put together and I hope to have more Lookbook’s like this in the near future.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.” -Romans 12:2
